Blueberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars

Last year I created blueberry crumble bars that were a large hit over the spring and summer months. they need a buttery butter cookie base, a layer of recent blueberries, and a fresh crumble topping.

But I needed to form a version with oatmeal crumble. as a result of I’m pretty certain that if there’s oatmeal – then it’s breakfast approved. and since adding oatmeal creates even additional delicious fresh crumble texture. And that’s continually an honest factor.


For the bottom & Crumble Topping
  • 1 cup general-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup old school oats , or giant flake oats (not fast oats or instant oats)
  • 1/2 cup refined sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup tasteless butter , melted
  • 1 giant fixings
  • 1 tablespoon packed sugar

For the Blueberry Layer
  • 2 cup blueberries , recent or frozen - see baking time adjustment if mistreatment frozen
  • 2 tablespoons juice , freshly squeezed (use one tablespoon if mistreatment frozen berries)
  • 1/4 cup refined sugar
  • 2 teaspoons starch
