Chunky Monkey Brownies

Chunky Monkey tarts are so sensational you will drool even as you’re eating them. No kidding. I know you're likely bored with me raving about the richness and decadence of a selected dessert. I simply can’t help it. 

Instead of the use of normal chocolate chips I used Hershey’s new baking melts within the brownie and then used chocolate chips on top. Oh, my. Chocolate just explodes on your mouth with each chew. The Baking Melts are an awful lot larger than chocolate chips so it’s like having miniature chocolate goodies internal. cherished ’em! 

If you’re seeking out a rich, gooey and, sure, decadent brownie recipe, than look no farther than Chunky Monkey muffins with baking melts. Y-U-M. yes, of direction, you can use chocolate chips or chocolate chunks. however for a richer, deep chocolate taste, try the baking melts. They’re extremely good!


  • 2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods
  • 1 half cups brown sugar packed
  • half of cup white sugar
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened 1 cup
  • 2 big eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • half cup banana, mashed with a fork approximately one medium-massive banana
  • 10 ounces. Hershey’s semi-candy chocolate baking melts or 12-oz.. semi-candy chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Nestle's chocolate chips for the top

  1. blend butter, eggs, sugars, salt and vanilla with an electric powered mixer till well mixed.
  2. upload flour, mashed banana and baking melts (or chocolate chips).
  3. Stir with a timber spoon to combine.
  4. Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  5. spread brownie combination into prepared pan.
  6. smooth the pinnacle with a knife or rubber spatula.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake at 350° for 30-40 mins simply till gently golden brown, and a toothpick inserted in center comes out smooth.
  9. Cool absolutely before slicing into bars.
